J hook wiper arm installation method

1. J hook adaptor + boneless wiper. In most cases, there is a clip at the connection.
Just understand the unlocking method of the buckle. Hold both sides of the buckle and
lift it gently to unlock the buckle cover .
2. Pass the wiper arm out of the wiper interface cover, align it with the wiper
interface, tighten the wiper arm to hear a "click", make the wiper and wiper arm fit
closely, and close the buckle cover.
Note:
The J hook is usually made of metal, and the bottom is connected by a spring. It is
best to put a book or towel on the glass when disassembling and installing to prevent
wind or other factors from smashing the scraper arm onto the glass.

1. When using a wiper to remove dust on the surface of the windshield on a sunny day, you need to spray glass water, not dry;
2. When there are other stubborn and hard dirt on the glass, it should be cleaned by
hand. These things can easily damage the wiper blade and cause the wiper to be unclean. In severe cases, the motor will be affected;
3. The wiper blade needs to be lifted for car washing and daily cleaning. Hold the back
of the wiper blade directly, and gently send it back when it is placed.Never "pop" the wiper back;
4. When using in winter, first use an ice shovel to clean the ice residue on the
windshield surface, so as not to increase the burden of the wiper;

How to fix common windshield wiper problems

  • Adjust the tension on your blades by manually lifting the wiper blade away from the windshield then letting it snap back onto the windshield.
  • Check for a bent wiper arm by stopping the blades in the mid-stroke position to see if the wiper arm is parallel to the windshield then replace if necessary.
  • If the blade is not making full contact with the windshield take a plier and bend the mid-to-edge section of the wiper arm downwards toward the windshield.
  • Use hot, soapy water and clean both the windshield and wiper blade rubber thoroughly to remove any grease or buildup.


When is the ‘right’ time to replace my wiper blades?

  • Excessive Streaking/Smearing: This normally indicates a worn wiper blade.
  • Every 6-12 Months: Depending on the climate & usage, we recommend replacing wiper blades as often as 6 months up to every 12 months for optimal safety.
  • High Temperature Climate: Exposure to heat will actually shorten the lifespan of the wiper blade significantly vs. being used in the rain/snow.
  • Not Sure: If you don’t remember the last time you replaced your wiper blades, it’s time to change them out!
